Messy Salt Stains?  Find out how to get them out!

Winter's here...and so are those pesky salt stains.  No worries...most salt stains can be removed from your leather shoes. We use a scrubbing process that gently lifts salt stains out.  Most smooth leather shoes can be cleaned, however, some suede shoes (particularly light colors) are resistant to cleaning.  Light leathers are prone to residual water rings and staining as well.

Feeling confident enough for a do it yourself project?  We recommend using Lincoln EZ Cleaner.  For smooth leather, be sure to follow up cleaning with a good creme polish (Meltonian Creme Polish) to keep your leather supple.

Not sure if your shoes can be cleaned?  Bring them on in and let us take a look!

The moral here...take care when choosing which shoes to wear out in the winter weather!
